This Cookie Policy (“Cookie Policy”) provides information regarding cookies and other similar tracking technologies that may be used in the course of our activities, when you interact with the website www.arenamilano.it owned by EVD Milan S.r.l., (hereinafter, the “Site”), based in Milan, Via Fabio Filzi 29 (hereinafter, “EVD Milan” or “Controller”) and managed by it.

What Are cookies And What Are They Used For?

A Cookie is a portion of code installed within the browser that assists the Controller in providing the service according to the described purposes. Some of the purposes for which cookies are installed may require the user’s consent, in which case such consent may be freely revoked at any time.

Cookies are distinguished as follows:

- depending on who installs them on the user’s terminal, whether it is the owner of the website the user is visiting (“first party cookie”) or a different website, which installs cookies through the first site (“third party cookie”);

- based on its duration, in persistent cookies, i.e. that remain stored, even after the browser is closed and until a set deadline, on the user’s device and in session cookies, which are not stored permanently, but are automatically deleted each time the browser is closed;

- based on the purpose of each cookie: some cookie are necessary for the proper functioning of the Site (“technical cookies” or “strictly necessary cookies”); others, are aimed at collecting information about the number of users and how they interact with our Site and services. These data are collected in order to process statistical information on the use of the Site and its operation, with the aim of measuring its performance and being able to act with a view to improving its navigability and functionality, as well as to recognize the user each time he visits the Site, showing personalized content based on this (“analytical and functional cookie”). Others, allow the Site that installed them to monitor the user’s navigation also in order to send advertising or offer services in line with the preferences expressed by the user while browsing the web and/or to evaluate the usefulness of advertising campaigns and content presented to the user (“Profiling cookie” or “Targeting cookie”).

The Site uses only technical cookies.

Consider that technical cookies are those used for the sole purpose of “carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide such a service” (article 122, par. 1 of the Privacy Code). They are not used for any further purposes and are normally installed directly by the website owner or operator.

Based on that, in accordance with Directive 2009/136/EC, implemented by Legislative Decree No. 69 of May 28, 2012, cookies that are essential for the use of a website may be used even without the user’s consent, since they are cookie necessary for the proper functioning of the website or services enabled or requested by the user. Because of this, such cookies are always active and cannot be disabled by the user. In case of removal of such type of cookies through the browser settings, browsing on the Site may not be, in whole or in part, possible.
